Hi Nanny, it's been 38 years since we've seen your beautiful face and smile...since we've heard you laugh and speak...since we've played 31 or watched some soap operas. You were a wonderful Grandmother who thought of only making everyone else happy! You surely never put yourself first!
How I miss how you use to make fried onions, tomatoes and green peas...they were so good...you must have added a spice or something because mine never taste like yours did! The other favorite thing that I loved that you made was a mince meat mixture poured over creamy mash potatoes! hmmm good!!!!
I was blessed to have you as a Grandmother because you taught all of us the importance of family and love! Your children loved you so much. They still speak of you as if you were the Queen...in their eyes I think you were!
Since your passing one of your sons, and two of your Grandchildren and one of your Great Grandchild and one niece have joined you into the next journey of life. It must have been special for you to have some of your Great Granchld, grandchildren, and niece with you again, and too meet with them.
This is my Angie, your Great Grandchild...give her a big hug for me and tell her I love her and miss he so much...For sure she had your blood because she was one of the kindest people you could have met!
Below is a picture of Barbara and Marylou...sorry I don't have a picture of Uncle Eddy and Danny, but I know you know everyone even without their pictures.
Slip into my Mom's dream and give her a big hug, Nanny! She misses you so much! She talks of you all the time! She loves you and Grandpy so much. xo
All my love Nanny, Donna xoxoxo
Barbara, your niece
Marylou, your Granddaughter
